Online Application
Thank you for submitting your applications for the 2009 Premier’s Awards. The online application process is now closed and short-listing is underway. If your project is successful in the short-listing process you will be contacted by the Project Manager.
All applications are subject to the Eligibility Information and Conditions of Entry outlined below.
.
Eligibility Information
- All Western Australian State public sector entities, departments, statutory authorities, State Government agencies, universities, local government authorities and government trading enterprises (GTEs) are eligible to apply for any Award category.
.
- Applications must reflect work led by a public sector agency other than the Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC) or the Public Sector Commission (PSC). Applications will not be accepted if they reflect a lead by a non-Government entity, DPC, or PSC.
.
- Applications may reflect the efforts of multiple agencies, agency work teams or partnerships with Commonwealth departments, local government or non-Government organisations. Applications may be made on behalf of the entire agency, a division, branch, component, group, or individual employee.
Conditions of Entry
- Agencies must have permission from the Director General/CEO (and that of any partner agencies) to enter the Awards.
.
- Agencies are not to engage consultants to assist in the preparation or completion of applications (including professional printing and visual material).
.
- Although agencies may submit multiple applications if they have a variety of projects, the 2009 Awards will limit agencies to one-application-per-project. Where a project may satisfy the criteria of multiple categories, agencies must use their discretion to apply for the most appropriate category that will ensure their project is competitive. Applications submitted for the same project - or parts thereof - across multiple categories will not be accepted (please consult with any partner agencies to jointly submit one application).
.
- Submitted materials (Online Application, executive summary, visual materials etc) and information on an applicant’s website (or that of partner agencies) may be used in whole or in part by the Public Sector Commission in any communications material related to the Awards. Agencies may not be advised of the information to be used. The Commission encourages agencies to ensure that their materials are up to date, comprehensive and compelling.
.
- The Public Sector Commission may refuse to proceed with an application at any time in the process.
